As A3 turns 20 this year it is a good time to reflect on where we’ve been, celebrate what we’ve accomplished, and look to what the next 20 years may hold for us.
Industry overview: Looking at the telecom industry you will notice many companies have come and gone or merged, becoming part of a larger company. Along with those changes, technology has come a long way, from IP phones and hosted solutions to full communications suites that include video collaboration, chat, SMS, file collaboration, and mobility all rolled into one solution.
Our Beginning: A3 Telecom was founded in 2003 by industry veterans and NEC experts with the sole purpose of being experts in deploying, maintaining, and supporting NEC on-premises communications systems. We have helped customers from coast to coast and a few overseas get and keep their communications infrastructure running.
Our History: In 2020 A3 underwent a successful ownership change with original founders Mike Lopata and Bill Whitney exiting the company they built together. Our new President, Craig Ball, has committed to continue to do things the A3 Way, remain committed to NEC, and remain committed to being specialists that bring the industry knowledge, solutions, and commitment to your success.
Our Present: A3 has remained consistent with our founding goal, which is to help our customers run their businesses reliably, efficiently, and cost-effectively. We uphold this by designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining our customer’s communications infrastructure.
NEC continues to lead the way with a comprehensive solution that offers all of that in an easy-to-use, easy-to-manage, and cost-effective platform. Most importantly, NEC and A3 can help customers add those collaboration and mobility solutions without having to leave their PBX behind for practical or economic reasons. NEC’s unique offerings of industry-leading on-premises, cloud, and hybrid solutions continue their long history of leaving no customer behind, delivering industry-leading solutions, and all of this is provided by a financially secure, global corporation.
Our Future: As we think about the future, we vow to continue to do what we have always done. Focusing on our core mission of making our customers’ lives easier by being the experts they need, not by trying to be everything to everybody. That is the A3 Way!
